W H O A M I ?
My name is Jérémy Dagorne. I was born in France in 1976.
After taking a scientific baccalaureate, I decided to study the humanities: philosophy and literature. After obtaining a doctorate, I taught at university for a very short time, and then very quickly decided to devote myself to manual work while continuing to do philosophy, freely and for free.
At the same time, I've always had a passion for nature (observing animals, bow hunting (before becoming a vegetarian), fly fishing (no kill), in different biotopes: forests, mountains, etc.).
When I was 18, I discovered Scandinavia and its impressive natural environment, its vast spaces still largely untouched by man. It was a kind of revelation. Since then, I've lived there for several weeks a year. It was in Scandinavia that I developed my passion for cutlery.
I've also always been fascinated by haute cuisine and the wealth of emotions, standards and creativity that I've discovered there. I've met some wonderful people. The great chefs are people I understand deeply and who move me. That's why I've forged some wonderful, lasting human relationships with some of them.
