A K N I F E : A H A N D S H A K E
A customer comes in and tells me their story, shows me the size of their hand, tells me about their dream knife, and we choose the materials.
Only then does the technique come into play. My aim is always the same: to respond not just to the order but to the desire behind it, to which I have tried to pay infinite attention.
To take the risk of an encounter and try to bear witness to it.
Over the years, I've made a wide variety of knives. In simple steel, damascus, sandwich, stainless steel. Folding knives, table knives, kitchen knives, hunting knives and so on.
All these encounters have enabled me to deepen my technical skills, to understand my limits, and to see a sensitivity emerge from all these singularities.
I like to collaborate with other cutlers and craftsmen.
